MIL Industries manufactures Milfloron range of fluoropolymer coatings, marketed by DATASEAL INDIA. Fluoropolymers are crystalline polymers with broad service temperature range and chemical inertness. As well, these polymers are non-stick type and exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, low co-efficient of friction, low water absorption, excellent weatherability, flame resistance and dielectric properties. PTFE [poly tetra fluoro ethylene] PFA [per fluoro alkoxy], FEP [fluorinated ethylenepropylene], PVDF [polyvinyldene fluoride] and ETCFE [ethylene trichloro fluoro elhylene] are most commonly used fluoropolymers. These coatings are applied as layers of 25 to 800 microns in following applications to protect from corrosion, to prevent contamination and offer non-stick and electric insulation properties:

- textile rolls - to prevent starch buildup;
- chemical and pharmaceutical industries - for various equipment like mixers, blenders, centrifuges, pumps, impellers, valves, agitators, fiIters, fasteners etc;
