Product Profile of Co2 Laser Cutting/welding System [for Cover]
Sahajanand Laser Technology has introduced Brahmastra, a high power CO2 laser cutting/welding system. This system is suitable for rapid prototyping. This system is advantageous thanks to following:
- no dies required;
- high cut-edge quality;
- minimum heat affected zone;
- rapid design changes;
- can cut complex shapes;
- minimum set-up time;
- less scrap; and
- no parts distortion.
The power is ranging from 1.6 kW to 9 kW, and table size is 3 m x 1.5 m, or according to requirement. The system is available with auto sheet loader; auto sheet loading/unloading device; fume evacuator; fully integrated CNC controller; user friendly and nesting software; and conveyor system. Standard 1.6 kW laser can cut mild steel up to 12 mm, stainless steel up to 8 mm, aluminium up to 6 mm effectively with high cutting speed and accuracy in microns. These are useful in sheet metal profile cutting and welding in the manufacturing industry.
