Product Profile of Worm Reduction Gear Boxes
Alicon enterprise presents worm reduction gear units and other mechanical reduction gearboxes. They also produce worm reduction gear units of various types, like horizontal, vertical and shaft mounted type ranging from centre distance 28.75 mm [1.125"] to 266.7 mm [10.5"] of ratio ranging from 5:1 to 70:1 for single reduction gear unit. The shaft mounted speed reducer is manufactured in eight gear case sized, refereed by the letter starting from B, C, D, E, F, G, H to J. The eight sizes may have any one of three normal gears ratio 5:1, 13:1 and 20:1. These units are normally oil lubricated but they are equally ideal for lubricated for life greases.
