It contains planetary reduction in-side the worm wheel, which provides output torque rating 2 to 5 times more than the same size or worm drives. In addition, it gives higher reduction ratios than conventional worm drives. Brief specifications in-clude: torque rating - 87 Nm to 5180 Nm; reduction ratio - -76.5 to 345; and power rating - 0.06 kW to 7.47 kW.
