Key Features of Walk-In-Fume Hoods
- The Fume Hoods are fitted with a vertical sliding closing shutter [pulley system] which can be kept at any height as per requirement. They are easy to operate and serve as regulators too.
- An indicator lamp is fitted by the side of the sliding door to exhibit the functioning of the system.
- Facilities inside the chamber are [i] Tube light [ii] Electrical outlets to operate hot plate [iii] Water tap with sink [iv] Gas cocks and [v] Acid / Alkali resistant Spartek Tiles with acid resistant cement joints/Granite/Epoxy.
- At the bottom of the Fume Hoods provision has been given to keep chemicals and other reagents by arrangement with closing doors.
