Athena Controls offers a family of panel-mounted universal process controllers. These come in four DIN sizes viz. 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 and 1/32. Each model is controlled by microprocessor with on-demand auto tuning and complete On/Off using full PID functionality. An accurate, closed-loop control is provided by the single channel controllers without set point overshoot. The XT Series receives signal inputs from a wide range of probes and sensors, including K, J, N, R, T, S and B thermocouples; RTDs; and, linear inputs including 4-20 mA to 1-5 volts, and other industry standard current and voltage ranges. These controllers include following features on all models:

- dual LED displays,
- user-selectable ramp to set point,
- dual output/dual alarm capabilities,
- field-configurable process,
- deviation, and latching alarms, and
- bumpless auto/manual transfer.

RS-232/RS-485 bidirectional communications and remote set point select can be included as an option. It has facility of process variable transmission, heater break alarm, and dual I/O card. All controllers feature dedicated sub-menus, which make parameter setting and changing easy and foolproof. Operator can select scaling, engineering units, and digital filtering times from keypad. It needs power supply of 120 to 240 V AC without transformer tap changes or polarity identification.
