Indications of Tranostat Injections
Local Fibrinolysis
Prevention of bleeding after surgery and Trauma
Prostatectomy
I.V Dosage
500 mg to 1 gm by slow I.V 3 times daily
10 mg/kg by slow I.V 3 to 4 times a day
0.5-1 gm [10-50 mg/kg body weight] gives I.V. 2-3 times
daily immediately after surgery for 2-3 days
0.5 gm-1 gm by slow I.V. [First injection during operation] for the first 3 days after surgery
Oral Dosage
1-1.5 gm orally
Followed by 1-1.5 3-4 times daily
Thereafter 1-1.5 gm orally 3-4 times daily
5 ml ampoule of Tranostat Injection is available in a packing of 5 X 5 ml.
