These tension meters are largely used for the measurement of tension in wired & strands in the precast concrete fabrication. It also finds application in the areas like aerial ropeways, cable car, wire rope in lifts, powerlines/towers, cranes and winches. At the time of fixation of a tensioned member between two points the tension meters vibrates at a particularly frequency. It has also direct relation with tensile stress. The display shows the tension force after internal calculation.
