PLA Timer offers a highly reliable Star Delta Timer SD4S. It has a fixed star to delta pause time. On giving supply, the output star relay energizes instantaneously and it de-energizes after completion of the preset delay time [star time] set by the knob. The delta relay energizes after a fixed pause time after the de-energisation of the star relay. This pause time [60 ?10 ms] provides the shortest possible current off pause and simultaneously ensures a smooth changeover. The unit is used for star-delta starting of 3-phase induction motors. The timing range is 30 seconds/60 seconds. This timer is suitable for DIN rail as well as panel mounting and operates on mains voltage. Contact rating is 6 Amps resistive at 240 V AC.
