It is a Lead-free and cadmium-free solder with flow and wetting properties.
The soldered joint retains a brilliant appearance even after long service.
Low-temperature resistance down to -200 C.
Chemical composition is Ag : 3-5 & Sn : Balance
The Solder 611 has a melting point of 240 C & a UTS of 5 Kgf/mm
Its Electrical conductivity is 7.5 Sm / mm while Specific gravity is 7.3 g / cm
Source of heat is Oxy-acetylene torch, gas-air torch, blowlamp, soldering, iron, dip bath.
It is used for soldering on steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys. Food industry, electrical industry, general apparatus construction, refrigeration industry and copper pipe assemblies [hot and cold water systems, heating systems operating up to 100 C].
