Snatch-free modules and soft starters [from Emco Kimo Electronics is available from 1.1 to 7.5 kW range. They have wide application in conveyors belts and transport systems; packing equipment; pumps; refrigeration compressors; heat pumps; long-travel drives for cranes; and general soft starting applications in machinery and plant construction. The standard features of these products are -/2- phase control; 3-phase AC 230 V, 3-phase AC 400 V, l/N AC 230 V; starting torque, ramp-up time and ramp-down time adjustable; soft stop [SM2 only]; mounting on 35 mm DIN rail; side-by-side mounting; no control voltage required; easily retrofitted; internal bypass relay; and can be combined with electronic DC injection brakes.
