Product Profile of Single Pass Honing Machine
Khushbu Engineers provides single pass honing machine. Through single pass honing process very close tolerances can be achieved consistently with required surface finish. In single pass honing, a rotating diamond impregnated tool is passed once through the bore. Either the tool or the job is floating. Material removal is done by diamond cutting points. High wear resistance of diamond impregnated tool ensures the repeatability of the bore size within 0.001 to 0.003 mm. Bore roundness, straightness and surface finish can be achieved within desired tolerance. It is applicable for any type of bore stepped or blind and almost all type of material combinations. With automation, production rate of 400 Nos./hour can be achieved. It is very simple to operate as compared to conventional honing.
