Product Profile of Serial-to-ethernet Converters
San Telequip manufactures and offers serial-to-Ethernett converters [SC10 series] that quickly allow users to Ethernet enable any serial device. LED indications are provided on the front facia for Ethernet/serial activities and configuration mode. Network protocols, such as UDP, TCP, ICMP, and ARP are supported. The entire serial and network parameters can be configured us Windows-based set-up utility from serial as well as Ethernet side. The SC 1 OE has an Ethernet interface with 10/100 BaseT speed, RJ45 connector, and a serial interface, RS232/RS485 up to a maximum of 115 Kbps with 4 9-pin D-type female connector. The device is powered with 2 V AC a built-in SMPS, No external adapter is required.
