Product Profile of Self-tapping Screws
GKW Limited, a part of the K K Bangur group of companies, has a major Screws and Fasteners division. Self tapping screws are available in pan, CSK, round and raised configuration. These are available in AB and B type with slotted head and recessed head, and in special type in Y-type and U-type hammer drive. Finish - hardened and bright zinc plated; range - diameter from 2 to 12 sg; length from 3.2 mm to 50 mm; and specification - IS 7170, 7169, 7173 and BS 4147 for the product, IS 2062, IS 7887 [grade 5 to 10] for raw material. Application: bus bodies, railway coaches, modern luggage, telephones, steel and aluminium furniture, TV and other household equipments, automobiles and everything electrical - household switches to industrial switchgear.
