SCADA based Feeder Terminal Unit is designed with in-built 4 independent RS485 ports for communication with various master & slave devices and for maintenance. The Feeder Terminal Unit enables serial ports to be added using USB connection. Ashida Eletronics Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 9001:2008 certified company manufactures SCADA based Feeder Terminal Unit.

Ashida Eletronics Pvt. Ltd. offers a wide range of electrical power protection relays, auxiliary protection relay and SCADA systems. The SCADA based Feeder Terminal Unit supports communication to Master using protocols IEC60870-5-101 & IEC60870-5- 104 either directly or thru GPRS/ CDMA modem.

Salient features of the SCADA based Feeder Terminal Unit:

  • Serial ports can be added further using USB connection.
  • Two independent 10/100 MBPS Ethernet ports with support for SSL, VPN, SMTP & SNTP Time-synchronisation.
  • Support communication to Master using protocols IEC60870-5-101 & IEC60870-5- 104 either directly or thru GPRS/ CDMA modem.
  • Support communication to Slave devices [Meters/ Relays or MFTs] using protocols IEC60870-5-103 & MODBUS. Supports maximum of 6 I/O Cards
  • Independent Output contacts which can be use for various controller, such as Trip / Close etc.
  • Internal digital status inputs, which can be used as single point [1bit] status or double point [2bit] status with 1msec SOE time stamping.

    • Operational Indicator: Mechanical Flag (Red for Alarm, White for Normal) in window : HR Type
    • Operational Limits: 70 to 110% of rated coil voltage
    • Operational Time: 20 - 25 ms at nominal rated voltage
    • Relay Conforms: IS: 3231-1981 fully for all requirements
