Product Profile of Railway Transformers
Sai Electricals offers transformers used by Indian Railways up to 25 kV class in their various applications. These transformers have been type tested at CPRI/ERDA and after thorough inspection and trials, the company has been approved by RDSO/CORE as a standard source for electrification projects as well as replacement requirements of Indian Railways. Railway transformers are also supplied under third party inspection. The company`s range of specialised railway transformers consists of: auxiliary transformers of 5, 10, 25 and 50 kVA, 25 kV input/240 V output; booster transformers up to 280 kVA, 25 kV class; dry type fibre-glass epoxy, stainless steel housed power distribution transformers for EOG coaches up to 60 kVA, 750 V input/415 V output; coach testing traction transformers up to 1000 kVA, 11 kV three phase input/25 kV single phase output.
