Specifications of Portable Light Weight Diesel Engine are:
Combustion chamber: Direct injection in open type combustion chamber provided in an aluminium alloy piston with long stem multihole nozzle results into low fuel consumption and easy starting
Fuel System: High speed diesel is supplied to the fuel; pump by gravity feed through an efficient replaceable paper element type main filter
Lubrication: Engine`s moving parts are lubricated by force feed and partly by splash lubrication. A throwaway type bypass filter is provided for filtering the lubricating oil. Lubricated oil is supplied under constant pressure by lubricated oil pump.
Governing: A sensible mechanical centrifugal type governor mounted on camshaft gear. Speed variation is controlled within limits to comply with class B1 governing as per IS: 11170. Class A2 Governing as per IS: 10001 [General - Purpose]
Cooling: Water cooled engine is continuous cooled by flow of water. Air Cooled engine is cooled by air flow generated with the help of fan mounted on flywheel called conventional cooling.
Rotation: Standard rotation is clockwise looking at the flywheel. Engine with reverse rotation can be provided on demand
Starting: The engine is designed for starting by hand. Electric start provision can also be provided against specific requirement.
Drive: Standard power takes off is from flywheel side. Power take off from gear and at half speed can be provided on demand.
