Mahims Systems offers a new series to its existing range of optical encoders. AH Series stands for alternate high output--in clockwise rotation one channel
[A] is going to give train of pulses and other channel
[B] will be at low, and in counter clockwise rotation it is other way.
The first active channel [A] will be held at low and other channel [B] will be active to generate output pulses. The encoders are in the range of 1 to 1,000 PPR.
The main feature of Optical Encoder is one can have interlocking as well as indication of rotation. All other standard specifications like marker pulse, IP65 protection, 5 to 24 V supply, output with open collector, push-pull line driver RS-422, mounting flange/servo, etc, remain unchanged. The areas of application are X-Y recorder and tables, conveyors, elevators, special purpose machines, robots, measure length-N-cut, etc.
