Rohde & Schwarz offers instrument family for network analysis, Network Analyser and Spectrum Analyser. The R&S ZVL network analyzer, with the price of a low-cost instrument, features and performance of a middle class instrument and the weight and form factor of a portable instrument, addresses the entire market for design, production, service and installation. It has a special feature like it combines RF analysis instrument classes in a single box. In the basic version, it is a bidirectional 2-port vector network analyser that measures a OUT both in the forward and reverse direction, to characterise all four S-parameters. The R&S ZVL-K1 option adds a full-blown spectrum analyser with performance similar to the R&S FSL. Along with this , it turns into a power meter by controlling a power sensor of the R&S NRP series.
