The Medium Short Linseed Oil Modified Rosinated Alkyd is a highly complex condensation product of linseed oil alkyd. The Medium Short Linseed Oil Modified Rosinated Alkyd is freely soluble in MTO. It gives a film, which sets very fast and dries quickly. This Medium Short Linseed Oil Modified Rosinated Alkyd is highly suggested for stoving finishes without any combination with urea formaldehyde or melamine formaldehyde type of resins. This particular resin is perfectly suitable for spraying air-drying finishes. It is also suitable for the formulation of cabinet and general-purpose enamels.
The Medium Short Linseed Oil Modified Rosinated Alkyd has a high viscosity in MTO, in low percentage solids. The Medium Short Linseed Oil Modified Rosinated Alkyd is quick setting and fast drying resin, it is recommended for the production of primers and undercoats. The Medium Short Linseed Oil Modified Rosinated Alkyd is also used for industrial spraying air-drying enamels Primers and Undercoats. The air-dried film obtained with this resin can be over spread with Nitrocellulose lacquers after 24 hours.
