Product Profile of Martensitic Stainless Steels
Jindal Stainless manufactures Martensitic Stainless Steel. It is commonly used for knife blades, surgical instruments, shafts, spindles and pins. Martensitic stainless steels are commercially developed for cutlery. This steel has a relatively high carbon content [0.1-1.2%] compared to other grades of stainless steel. The stainless steel is moderate corrosion resistance which can be hardened by heat treatment resulting in high strength and hardness.
