The Audio Generator is a low-distortion stable amplitude oscillator. It produces a very low distortion sine wave to measure power harmonic distortion and audio pre-amplifier. With flat response of 0.2 dB, it can eliminate constant monitoring of the voltage level during the frequency response test and offers proper frequency and amplitude setting by a digital Frequency or Amplitude readout. The Caddo 4036 provides 30 V, selectable sine-wave or pp square-wave. The two push button attenuators calibrated in 20 dB steps, alongwith the 20 dB vernier, provide a total of -60dB output voltage attenuation
