Bharat Electronics Ltd develops and manufactures Long Range Air Warning Radar PLN 517. This recommended for use on large and medium Naval ships. It is equipped with transmitter-receiver unit, high gain antenna unit, monitor display and remote control unit. The radar can cover around 100 Nm.This radar incorporates tracking Stalo technique, 3 pulse canceller and I,Q processing in order to enhance MTI performance.
