Special features: the bed is made from 25 grade cast iron of 180 BHN hardness and seasoned after rough machining to avoid stresses; apron is totally enclosed in oil bath system with level type arrangement for automatic feeds; hexagonal shaped tail stick with hardened and ground tail stock spindle made from alloy steel having external and internal grinding; and test report as per Indian standards IS-1878 [Part-I] 1971. Specification: height of centre - 165 mm [6?"]; swing over bed - 320 mm; swinging gap - 510 mm; swing over cross slide - 180 mm; admit between centre - 700 mm; movement of cross slid - 200 mm; and movement of compound slide - 115 mm.
