Product Profile of Industrial Purpose Neutral Grounding Resistors
Industrial Purpose Neutral Grounding Resistors are connected between the neutral & the earth so that it will limit the earth fault current to a safe value. These Neutral Grounding Resistors are available in a range of up to 66Kv. These Neutral Grounding Resistors can operate in a condition of no earth fault where continuous current from 5 % to 10 % of full load current range, may pass through the resistor due to system unbalance. Industrial Purpose Neutral Grounding Resistors can also function in earth fault condition where restricted fault current passes through the resistor protecting the system till automatic protection takes place.
