Product Profile of Industrial Grade Ferro Silicon
Industrial Grade Ferro Silicon is used in colour or non-colour metallurgy industry as an important deoxidizing material and is used as a bud or sprout in the moulding industry. The Ferro Silicon has melting point ranging from 1200 ° C to 1250 ° C. The Ferro Silicon can be used in steel making and foundries as a source of silicon in production of carbon steels, stainless steels, and other ferro alloys for its deoxidizing properties and is used in manufacturing silicon steel for electro-motors and transformer cores. The Ferro Silicon is used for inoculation of the iron and to prevent loss of carbon from the molten steel. The Industrial Grade Ferro Silicon is used in iron industry as inoculants and nodulizer.
