Menzel labortechnik presents MZ-X17AT inverted metallography, a workstation with fully imported optics and with full image analysis. Microscope stand is sturdy, well contoured and ergonomically designed. Viewing head is a binocular observation head conveniently inclined at 45 degree off the horizontal, with coated prisms and interpupillary and dioptric adjustment. It has co-axial focusing module with slides traveling on ball bearing guideways, and large, graduated mechanical stage with low drive co-axial controls for X-Y movement, on the ball slides.
Quadruple revolving nosepiece ensures quick magnification change, with positive click stops for proper centering. It has special flat field, glare-free, high contrast parafocal plan objective M10x, M40x, and 100x [oil] and compensating high eye point wide field eyepiece HKW 10x [field number 18]. A special 6v / 50 w halogen illuminator powered by switch mode power suply [SMPS] ensures constant output voltage ideally required for microphotography. Accessories include grain size eyepiece, filial eyepiece, 100x dry plan objective, CCD camera, and image analysis system polarising attachment.
