Product Profile of High-g Shock Accelerometer
Electronic Enterprises offers high-G shock accelerometer, Model 350B02, manufactured by PCB Piezotronics, USA. It measures high-g accelerations associated with pyroshock and high-level mechanical impacts. Mechanical and electrical filters avoid excitation of the sensing element due to high-frequency input. Built-in micro-electronics give a low-impedance signal capable of being transmitted over long cable lengths with virtually no degradation in signal quality. This sensor is constructed with a ceramic shear sensing element, provides a sensitivity of 0.1 mV/g with a measurement range of 50,000 g. The unit is case isolated to avoid ground-loop problems.
