Model 2050 has some technical features which include: a compact hand-held instrument, suitable for general purpose vibration measurement on rotating machinery. It can measure RMS vibration velocity in mm/sec; in addition to Pk-Pk displacement in microns and RMS acceleration in the IS/ISO specified frequency band of 10 Hz- 1,000 Hz. In the bearing mode, it measures bearing spike, which is the high frequency vibration emitted typically by faulty bearings. vibration sensor-an accelerometer has no moving parts, and integral amplifier, so that there is absolutely no effect of cable shake on the measured readings; Thus it provides a very sound basis for monitoring the state of bearings in an objective manner;from in-built rechargeable Ni-MH batteries, this machine is operated.
