Product Profile of Handheld Terminal
Avantel Softech Ltd. designs & manufactures repeaters, filters, combiners & amplifiers to enhance the capacity & coverage of wireless communication networks for use in GSM, CDMA & 3G networks. The MSS [Mobile Satellite Services] Reporting Handheld Terminal operates in ALOHA mode and is suitable for sending short messages. The following are its ditint features:
1. Each reporting terminal operates in S-band and transmits short messages up to 40 characters.
2. Handheld Reporting Terminal has been designed to send edited alphanumeric messages up to 40-character length at low bit rate [600-baud rate].
3. By using the Terminal, GPS messages can also be forwarded by E-mail to predefined destination through MSS Hub.
4. Terminal consists of MSS transmitter [Synthesized Modulator and SSPA], Message Generator card, GPS receiver, Antennas [S-band & L-band] and a rechargeable Battery.
