JK Files manufactures a new bi-metal hacksaw blade named Bearcat or BGT, introduced by the L S Starrett Company, USA. This cuts faster and lasts longer than conventional milled teeth bi-metal blades. The Hacksaw Blades features precision ground high speed steel teeth coupled with a super-efficient, aggressive, Starrett-designed Bearcat tooth shape that together results in faster cutting and longer blade life. Tests have shown the blade to cut as much as 30% faster than regular bi-metal blades.
