A gas detector system [low/medium/high] is offered by Abhitron. This gas detector system is provided with 55 LED bargraph which reads in three coloured zones. This gas detector system has some technical features which include: are green [15 LEDs, 0-100 PPM], yellow [15 LEDs, 100-500 PPM], and red [20 LEDs, 500-1000 PPM] alongwith five leak registered LEDs. It operates on 230 V AC or 6 V DC; has a selectable slide switch for audio-visual built-in solid-state buzzer with green [low], yellow [medium] and red [high] LED indicator to find out leakage of gas/fume/vapour and 55 LED frequency. This gas detector also contains individual frequency pots on the front panel with reset push switch. It detects LPG, smoke, hydrocarbons, ammonia, hexane, hydrogen, SO2 , acetone, benzene, alcohols, esters and around 100 inorganic gases. This gas detector system finds its application in: the detection of smoke, LPG and as an environment detector, air pollution monitor for hotels, computer rooms, hospitals, chemical and fertilizer plants, etc. There is also a provision for functioning five gas detectors remotely with independent register alarm LED-latching. The detector is provided with some electrical features which include: a 6 V battery back-up and a remote alarm/mute with a 40 second timer; increase and decrease in concentration without using the audio alarm are shown by visual bargraph indication.
