Product Profile of Float Switch
Cristal Instruments offers float switch. This switch can be used for initiating high/low level audio/visual signals or automatic level control of liquids in tanks. The switch actuation by micro-switch has SPDT contacts of current rating 5A @ 240 V AC. It operates normally at 12 mm liquid level differential. The float and all wetted parts are of SS 304/316, PVC or Teflon. This is designed for maximum pressure rating of 40 kg/cm2 and temperature of 300?C, suitable for mounting directly on the side of the tank. It is gland-less and hence becomes leak-proof. The mounting flange is SS square flange has 83 mm PCD with 4 bolt holes of 9 mm ? as standard. It has weatherproof housing. The flame-proof is made as per IS-2148-1981 for Gr I, II A & II B gases on request. It is suitable for liquid specific gravity from 0.7 to 1.2. The company also offers low-cost miniature types for atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature applications.
