Fail-safe sensors approved up to T?V category 4, SIL 3 and PL e, do not require a special counterpart but switch directly on the door or a stainless steel or mild steel target. Fail-Safe inductive sensors are wear-free and largely independent from mounting tolerances after a longer use of the doors.
