Ether Soluble Anhydrous Citric Acid has crystals which are white, odourless etc. The Acid is easy to use. The Acid has residue on ignition of maximum 0.1%, sulphate of maximum 0.015%, oxalic acid of maximum 0.036%, heavy metals of maximum 0.001%. The Acid is slightly hygroscopic in moist air, very soluble in water freely soluble in alcohol and is very slightly soluble in ether. The Ether Soluble Anhydrous Citric Acid has molecular weight of 192.13.
