Applications of Eco- Friendly Rust Converter are:
Remove any rust from the surface using a wire brush or by mechanical means.
Apply ASTRAL RC-OH using either a brush or a roller.
On application, the chemical reaction takes place the iron oxide gets converted to a stable phosphate compound within 60 minutes.
The conversion of the red colour rust to a grayish-black coat is the indication that the conversion is complete and the surface is ready for accepting any further protective coating to prevent rusting in future.
It is important to apply a protective coating once the rust is converted for protection of the steel.
