When mounted on taper or straight shank arbours, they can be used throughout the shop on drilling machines, radials, milling machines and lathes. Distinguished for their excellent finish, the accuracy of the chucks according to Indian standard specification No: IS: 2243. Body and screw rings are made from carbon steel. Sleeves are of carbon steel, expertly hardened, externally and internally ground. Jaws made of nickel chrome steel. Heat treated and toughened at the front and gripping edge. Keys are of casehardened steel, hardened and blackened. Each chuck is supplied with a key.
