Digital Vibration Monitoring System is an instrument which monitors peak to peak levels of displacement [or velocity] of vibration of rotating machines or other vibrating prone equipments. The Monitor provides a relay output to trip power supply to the system using the contactor in the starter when the level of the vibration increases above the set value. The Monitoring System consists of an electro ? dynamic sensor which are to be mounted on the surface of the body where vibrations are to be monitored. Digital Vibration Monitoring System selects the displacement of vibrations based on various factors like direction and speed and also indicates whether the displacement is crossing the caution limit with trip mechanism.
