Product Profile of Digital Peak Hold Temperature Indicators
Digital peak hold temperature indicators are suitable for measuring the temperature of molten metal [ferrous or non-ferrous] in a furnace or ladle. The complete system from Vijayesh Instruments consists of immersion lance with a thermocouple [expendable, type K, S, R or B], compensating cable and this instrument. Digital peak hold temperature indicators takes three to five seconds to show the total measurement , when the immersion lance is dipped into the molten metal bath . The temperature plateau detection software ignores erratic and transient readings caused by furnace hot spots, spikes in electric supply, slag, etc. The instrument works on 230 V AC. A printer for record purpose or external large display for remote sensing can be connected to the Digital peak hold temperature indicators.
