Cosel Co, Japan, has introduced a wide range of converters. They include inputs ranging from 4.5 V DC to 75 V DC in addition to wide range of versions from 36-72 V DC and 88-370 V DC for static and dynamic robotics and remote control operation. All units are assembled with SMD components and have maximum profile heights from 7 mm to 8.5 mm. Additional built-in heat sink of 3 mm width renders 50 W/100 W units to 12 mm profile height. Pin board mountable converters with single and dual outputs come from 5 V to 30 V DC output. It incorporates externally adjustable trim control pin and remote control pin. With current balance/voltage balance mode of operation for paralleling function, current sharing improves delivery of converters to 500 W and above. All converters operate from -20?C to 70?C with storage temperatures extending from -40?C to 85?C. AC/DC rectifier front ends come in SMD modules with 750 W handling capability. These incorporate unity power factor at input, zero crossing detector inrush limiting and RFI/EMC control with IEC 1000-3-2 and radiation approvals of CISPR 22.2. All modules conform international safety approvals of UL/CSA/TUV/EN and IEC apart from Dentori.
