Product Profile of Coconut Shell Based Charcoal
Coconut Shell Based Charcoal is a solid material which consists of pure carbon and acts as a good adsorbent. The Charcoal has a porous structure and resultant vast surface area which can be as large as 1500 m²/gm. The Charcoal is used in water treatment for effective removal of odour, colour and recuperation. Coconut Shell Based Charcoal is activated by reaction with steam at a temperature of 900 degree C - 1100 degree C, under controlled atmosphere in a rotary kiln.
