DEMECH from the year 1969, manufactures various types of engineering products. Being a part of that DEMECH manufacturers of coal feeders which are used to feed coal to pulverizing mills in power stations and other industrial applications. The general layout of a coal fired power station incorporates large capacity coal storage bunkers above the pulverizing mills. Each bunker has a coal feeder to feed & remove the mills and discharges the raw coal to the mills, where it is pulverized before being blown into the furnaces. The feeder discharge rate modulates in accordance with the demand signal from the boiler control system. Salient features of Coal feeders are as follows:
