Product Profile of Clamp-on Digital Meter
This Clamp-On Digital Meter, from M R Engineer, is suitable for measuring temperature, DC and AC volts, frequency auto ranging, resistance, continuity, diode test and AC current. The portable instrument can measure: temperature ranges from -20oC to 750oC with a resolution of 1oC with the use of a temperature probe; DC volts up to 1000 V with overload protection; AC volts having ranges of 200 V and 750 V with overload protection; auto ranging frequency to measure frequency in the range of 2 kHz to 20 kHz; and resistance from 2 K to 200 K, also useful for checking continuity and diode test. The AC current can be measured in the range of 20 A, 200 A and 600 A maximum. The instrument has a 3-1/2 digit LCD, polarity indication, over range display, zero automatic, and low battery indication. This low cost unit works on 9 V battery having dimension of 192 x 82 x 33 mm with weight of approximately 270 gm.
