Mohindra Precision Tools [P] Limited manufactures Threading Tools, specializing in the Thread Rolling Flat Dies, Circular Thread Rolling Dies & Tangential Chasers. These dies are made by Thread Grinding Process. The Circular Thread Rolls are generally made from selected Cold Work Tool Steel and also in High Speed Steel grades. Circular Thread Rolls are usually made in Two Piece Sets and also in Three Piece Sets for Rolling of special components and hollow pipes etc. as per requirement. The Circular Thread Rolls are made up to 250 mm Diameter and Width up to 300 mm for Thread Standards. The Circular Rolls are manufactured for both types In Feed [Plunge Feed] and Thru Feed.

Two types of Circular Thread Rolls are:

In-feed Circular Rolls: - In this rolling operation, machine spindles are set at zero degrees. The part does not feed through the dies. The length of thread rolled dies is limited by the width of Dies. These Dies are always helical.

Thru-Feed Circular Rolls:-In this rolling operation Machines spindles are normally set to an angle other than zero. The work piece feeds through the dies. The length of the thread produced is unlimited. Angle of Entry & Exit can also be provided in Thru-Feed Circular Rolls upon request.
