Product Profile of Bench Grinders
Vijay Machine Tools has launched ELMACO double-ended bench grinders arewhich is used for grinding of tool tips, light grinding, etc. The speed of the grinding at the rated load is 2,800 RPM. All the Bench Grinders machines are suitable for operation on 400/440 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz and 220/230 V, single phase 50 Hz supply. Electrical windings are specially insulated and impregnated with high grade insulating varnish to withstand moist and tropical climates. Provided with rotary switch mounted on base for operating the motor, each machine is also equipped with one rough and one smooth aluminium oxide grinding wheel. The range of production extends from 0.18 kW to 0.75 kW in single phase and 3-phase [2,800 RPM], and 0.75 kW to 2.25 kW in 3-phase [1,400 RPM]. Special machines suitable for different voltage supply or frequency are also manufactured.
