Mass-Tech Controls offers a range of battery chargers and other electrical equipment. The battery chargers are float and boost or float cum boost, thyristor controlled, constant voltage/constant current type, with up to 500 kW rating. These are useful for lead acid or SMF or Ni-Cd batteries with capacity ranging from 20 AH to 5,000 AH , and 12 V to 220 V or any custom made range. Other equipment comprises LT Panels - AC and DC disiribution boards and PCC and MCC control and relay protection panels; Metering panels; Generator protection and synchronising panels; Custom built distribution/instrumentation and protection panels, rectifiers [5,000 kW]; Low voltage current transformers, DC-DC converters/inverters and UPS systems; and, resistive load banks. Multi range resistive load banks for discharging batteries at constant current come for 24, 48, 110 and 220 V battery voltages and at current rating of 50, 150, 200 and 300 A. The load resistors use copper nickel that has a low temperature coefficient of resistance. The constant current is maintained by switching on the respective compensating switch during discharge of battery.
