Product Profile of Angular Shaped Chilled Iron Grits
Angular Shaped Chilled Iron Grits are widely used for cleaning in foundries, in castings for sand removal, for air blast applications as well as for removing of old paints, cleaning of castings and metallurgical materials, for blasting and cutting of stone. These Chilled Iron Grits are angular in shape having white structure made from cast iron scrap or pig iron having Carbon in excess of 1.7 and up to 3.5 % and hardness above 750 HV / 63 RC. These Chilled Iron Grits are also suitable for etch structural steel and components prior to coating with paint, metal spray and plastics. Angular Shaped Chilled Iron Grits are available in approximate density range of 7.0 kg/l.
