The Acid Pickling and Brightening of model name ACITEK 707 is supplied in a powder form, which replaces hazardous Hydrofluoric acid and hence easy to handle. This is added to the acid dip prior to plating to remove siliceous film and thus ensures adherent haze free deposits. Acid Pickling and Brightening is also used as an additive to sulphuric, nitric pickling baths and smut removal for aluminium alloys, stainless steel and titanium.
