Product Profile of 8-bit Micro-controllers
Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia offers a pair of 8-bit microcontrollers [the MB95F128 and MB95F168M]. These 8-bit micro controllers are used in household appliances and digital audio/video equipment. The two MCUs are the newest additions to the F2MC-8FX family of 8-bit microcontrollers. This 8-bit micro controller features low power consumption and high performance. Following are some of the electrical features of 8-bit micro controller which have built-in LCD controllers, with flashing LCDs that include hardware-based settings. With 60kB Flash memory, the MB95F128 is provided in a 100-pin LQFP package and runs off either 5V or 3V, making it appropriate as an LCD controller for low-voltage devices such as phones and electronic blood pressure meters. The MB95F168M with 60kB Flash memory is provided in a 64-pin LQFP package that runs off 5V, making it best suited for LCDs on microwave ovens, rice cookers, electric heaters and other appliances.
