2RU Rack Mounted Fiber Amplifiers, EAR Series is offered by IPG. This rack mounted systems are built using amplifier modules. This 2RU rack mounted EDFAs provide the ideal building blocks for Fiber to the Premise [FTTP] network. Optimized for low noise, IPG EDFAs allow for clear transmission of video, voice and data signals. These rack mounted units are also available in a hardened configuration that is designed to operate in outside cabinets. These space-efficient rack mount amplifiers are available in both single optical channel and up to 36 CWDM multiple output configurations, with each port providing up to 22 dBm output power at 1550 nm. IPG offers the highest channel count and most efficient EDFA in this market. Integrated CWDM splitters are available to enable the routing of 1490 nm and 1310 nm data streams from the OLT to the ONU through the EDFA.
